After traveling for 26hrs, I made it to Punta Arenas in southern Chile last night. Got to meet up with some of the other climbers from the group and get a tasty king crab and scallop dinner.

As MB pointed out, the flight was quite the hardship. ;). Flying business class is tough living. I’m sure you all feel horrible for me.

After getting some decent rest, I went on tour and checked out the penguins which were about an hours drive from the hotel. Pretty cool to see those dudes cruising around and not in a zoo.

Tonight I think the whole group will have a team dinner before we go to ALE tomorrow for our briefing on the trip to Antarctica. It sounds like it could be possible to fly into the ice tomorrow night!
